Redbourn Parish Centre

Redbourn Parish Centre was purpose built in 2014 providing modern, fully equipped council offices and a community centre based in the heart of Redbourn village, opposite the war memorial the common.

Redbourn Parish Centre comprises of the Parish Council Office and Chamber which is also used as a Conference Room and a Police Office.

As you enter there is a light and airy reception area with tables and chairs ideal as a break out area for meetings and gatherings.

The centre has a fully equipped modern kitchen and toilets with disabled access and baby changing facilities.

The Main Hall is used regularly for larger events, parties and exercise classes.

There is a small car park at the front of the building with a very limited overflow area to the rear.

The Main Hall and Conference Room are available for hire between 8 am and 11.30 pm every day and are frequently booked for business meetings, training, weekly exercise classes, children's birthday parties and other events.

Booking rates for both rooms are the same and as follows:

Private Hire: £20 per hour including VAT

Businesses/Commercial Use: £25 per hour including VAT or £22 per hour including VAT for regular hirers or bookings exceeding 8 hours.

1 hour minimum hire, fees payable in advance at the time of booking

Main Hall

The main function hall measures 12 metres by 8 metres and is a spacious room with a vaulted ceiling. It has the capacity for 80 people seated or 100 people standing.

There is a hard floor making the space suitable for exercise classes and parties and events alike.

There is a door leading directly into the kitchen and serving hatch making preparing and serving of food and drink easy.

The room is equipped with full HD media system suitable for audio visual presentations with appropriate licenses for showing films and a T-loop installed for the hard of hearing.

Conference Room

The Conference room is a carpeted meeting room measuring 9 metres by 7 metres.

It can accommodate up to 40 people seated in rows or 16 people plus tables.

This room is hired out on a regular basis for training sessions and workshops as well as being used for Council chamber and so used for committee and working party meetings.

Like the Main Hall this room is also equipped with a full HD media system suitable for audio visual presentations with appropriate licenses for showing films and a T-loop installed for the hard of hearing.

Kitchen

There is a fully fitted kitchen equipped with a commercial size electric hob and gas oven, hot water urn, dishwasher, microwave, fridge and freezer. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, jugs, cups and saucers which hirers are able to use for their event.

Access is from the entrance foyer or the Main Hall for function use.

Toilets

Fully service, male, female and disabled toilets are on site with Dyson hand driers and baby changing facilities

Other Facilities

The building is fully wired for hi speed broadband connection with ethernet points throughout the building. Wifi connection is also available throughout the centre free of charge. The building has access control and is equipped with security CCTV an intruder alarms.

Parking

There is limited parking in front of the building and a few additional spaces behind the centre on the gravel. If you do have to park on the street please be considerate to residents and ensure you don't block their access.

Conditions of Hire

I/we agree to the following conditions:
1. Hire period is from time of entry until departure
2. Premises must be left clean and tidy as found
3. There is no damage deposit payable but if damage occurs or premises not left clean and tidy you will be charged for repair and/or cleaning
4. Hire charge includes electricity, heating and use of WIFI.
5. A Temporary Event Notice has been issued by St Albans District Council if selling and serving alcohol during the hire
5. Once booking is confirmed you will receive an invoice and payment must be made prior to booking
6. Cancellation Conditions: If notification is given 2 weeks prior to the booking a full refund will be given.
