I have lived on Banbury Road in Kineton since 1997. I have a wife, Peta, a grown up son and daughter and a recent grandson. Recently, I retired from a long career in local government, the majority of which was with Cherwell District Council in Banbury where I was a Director responsible for many front line services and Interim Chief Executive. I have been and still am an active sportsman having played rugby but now a fervent and vocal Welsh fan, having played competitive team squash for 35 years but now playing social racket ball which is kinder to my struggling joints, am still playing an occasional cricket match after a 48 year playing career and swim and cycle to keep fit. My other interests include natural history, particularly ornithology, mountain walking and gardening. I am a trustee and chairman of the 1^st Kineton Scout Group and a trustee and Board Member of Active Oxfordshire.
