Planning Applications are normally discussed by the Parish Council which meets on the second Monday of each month. Details of the meetings are shown in the Council Calendar. The Agenda for the forthcoming meeting is published at least 3 days prior to the meeting.
Whilst the Parish Council considers and comments on all applications affecting Roade, the controlling authority is South Northamptonshire Council who can choose to take on board or ignore our comments.

South Northamptonshire Local Plan (Part 2) Adoption Statement
At a meeting of Council on 22 July 2020 South Northamptonshire Council resolved to adopt the South Northamptonshire Local Plan (Part 2) 2011-2029.
The South Northamptonshire Local Plan (Part 2) now becomes part of the Development Plan for South Northamptonshire and will be used in decision making and the planning of the area.
The South Northamptonshire Local Plan (Part 2) replaces all of the saved policies of the 1997 South Northamptonshire Local Plan (saved policies 2007) and supersedes Policy H2 and Policy H6 of the West Northamptonshire Joint Core Strategy 2011-2029 (adopted in 2014).
