Malcolm
Malcolm Grant is one of two Parish Councillors for Plungar replacing Jill Barlow when she retired in 2019 to move from the village.
Malcolm says:
This is my second term in the role having served eight years on the council back in the 90's
With my wife, June, I moved to Plungar in 1971 and have lived in the same cottage there since then.
I retired in 2010 having spent all my working life in the construction industry as a Quantity Surveyor.
My interests are popular science, sailing, computers and gardening.
I am the village coordinator for Plungar Neighbourhood Watch which I helped set up in 2007 and spent nine years as a police community volunteer for Leicestershire Constabulary.
