Eckington Council serves a community of approximately x,000 residents. It consists of x Councillors elected for a term of four years who will now hold office until May 2021. Eckington Parish Councillors are all volunteers and they receive no financial allowances for their term in office.

Anston is a beautiful and historic parish and contains the Anston Stones Wood Site of Special Scientific Interest, a designated nature reserve, a 12th Century Church and two conservation areas amongst other features. These are some images of these sites.
