Parish Councillor

I've lived in Clifton Without since the 1990s and I've seen many changes, some good and some less good. I know that by working together, looking after our environment and supporting each other, we can (and do) make this a great place to live. I try to play my part

Cllr Sam Waudby

Cllr Sam Waudby

Parish Councillor and City of York Councillor

I was elected to represent Clifton Without Parish Council and City of York Council in May 2019. I wanted to become a councillor for Rawcliffe and Clifton Without because I wanted to help residents with their issues and concerns within the area and give residents a voice when they feel they aren't heard. I have lived in this area for the last 20 years and I really enjoy living in this community. In my spare time I like walking, crafts and bingo

I was co-opted onto the Parish Council in 2014 having moved to York from Edinburgh. I believe that small changes can make large difference to people's quality of life, and hope to be able to improve Clifton (Without) through my work on the Council.
