Mayors Recognition Award Scheme

Guidance for preparing a Mayors Recognition Award.

Ashbourne Town Council is pleased to announce the launch of its Mayors Recognition Award scheme.

The Council are aware of the amazing work, members of the public put into making our town the great place it is.

Therefore, in recognition, we are happy to accept nominations from the public for individuals or groups who go the extra mile. The nominations can be submitted by hand to the Clerk of Ashbourne Town Council or emailed to admin@ashbournetowncouncil.gov.uk.

The form is available through a link here -and there are hard copies available from The Town Clerks Office, Ashbourne Town Hall.

The closing date for applications this year is the 31st of January 2023 and awards will be presented at a ceremony on Wednesday the 01st of March 2022. The successful nominee and the nominator will be notified and invited to the ceremony, with as many friends and family as they wish to invite along. The ceremony will be a public event and local media will be present.
