As in previous years the Council agreed to fund the provision of Extreme Wheels events throughout the Spring Bank, Summer and October half term school holidays. Specialist events would be run once a week and would be positioned on the recreation ground at Northside. Dates and times will be publicised on noticeboards and the Council website closer to the time. More »

The County Council were being asked to reconsider the decision.

The next edition of the Community Magazine was to be published shortly and the Elected Members of the Council would deliver a copy of the magazine to each household in the Parish. Details of the new Parish Council website, which was scheduled to go live from the beginning of May together with the revised email address were included in the magazine.

The Council also agreed the following position statement on the re-opening of Clay Cross Railways Station. Whilst there are currently no specific proposals for the re-opening of the former railway station at Clay Cross, the Council would be very supportive of such a proposal.
